Since I had to walk home in the lashing rain, I thought I'd write a blog on weather in Ireland.

Weather is different in different places around the world because of low pressure and high pressure system. Low pressure makes rain and snow, while high pressure areas is sunny, warm weather.

Precipitation, rain as I was telling you I had to walk home in, is just one form of precipitation, others would include snow, sleet and hail. Rain occurs when water vapour condenses around dust particles, creating clouds. When clouds get heavy they let the water fall.

• The highest temperature in the Antarctica(driest continent)  at 14.6 °C (59 °F) recorded on January 5, 1974. but the highest temperature in the world is 56.7°C (134°F) in California, July 10,1913.

Hi bloggers,
 Okay so spring/summer fashion is on now, so why not make something for yourself. This link  is a DIY for a tie dye t-shirt - a popular trend  for summer. Tie  dye is random twisting, folding then put into dye- How fun!!

Lets make it geography related by seeing how it got to being this t-shirt.

1. Cotton plant is produced,  bolls of this plant burst releasing white fibres, these are picked, cleaned and removed of their seeds. The fibres collected, are combed and spun into thread or yarn. This is then used to make are cotton material (oh junior cert knowledge!)
2. Then coal, that makes your electricity to power your sewing machine that makes your t-shirt.

Eyes is the organ of sight, they provide vision and send signals to others (anger, love, lust etc.) Wherever there is light and a reason to move, animals will have eyes.

The first thing we notice when we look into someone eyes, is the iris or colour. Most common colours are blue, hazel, grey and brown.
